My Sense of Direction is Rather Awesome

I was catching on lost sleep when I got a wake up msg from Thiru.And it ringed that I was suppose to met him at 12.Haha. Got ready in a hurry and gave him directions to my place. My sense of directions can be sort of cacat sometimes..see my Bm lessons are kicking in!..haha..anywhoos somehow he ended in the Digital Mall..My fault laa..I got confuzzeled on left and right..But he doesnt have to know tht :P...Somehow he managed to find it in the end and we headed to Mid Valley.

Since it was lunch time, the place was utter havoc and it took us forever to find a parking. We were both starvin so headed to Subway for lunch.I've sooo been cravin for it lately.I love their bbq sauce! We chilled there for a bit and headed to the cinema to check out movies. Gosh the line at the cinema was long as well...thats Mid Valley laaa..

After hearing the constant buzz about the movies and its constant wins at all the awards shows...I sooo wanted to watch it! And also I've been stuck to its soundtrack for the last few weeks.M.I.A is definately has this cool electronico/rap sound. I mean I got Ben and Prem stuck on "Paper Planes" for the first semester.Lol

Usually Oscar nominated films are a disappoitment to me.Not all are great as the critics say.But I really L.O.V.E.D this movie!!!! The child actors were amazing. And some of them were from the real slums of Mumbai! Dev Patel is sort cute in a wayy and is quite good as well. It's just that she didn't really have that much dialog. It was really a simple story but it showed life in a part of the world that many people are intrigued by. Very the interesting. I shall not spoil it too much for you.But DO go check it out if you havent!

Went down to the basement after the movie and we got lost..but thankz to my awesome memory! We manage to find the car after 10 minutes or so.Got caught in the 6pm rush hour. I got home nearly at 7. Thankz darlin for the time out! I had a terrific time!

Had instant noodles...my current craving!..that's all I wanna eat these dayz and settled to watch:

I ended up crying buckets!!! I had no idea it was such a lovely romantic tale. The songs were good, the way they remixed the classics and the dance scenes were superb!

Nicole Kidman was seriously freakin hott!..haha..my gurlie crush moments ppl :P

I've been on a download frenzy lately. So am looking for any good movies that I've missed before and lately. Recomendations anyone?

I'm off to check out the Oscar list to see if I missed anything else thats awesome..

The Christmas and the Weekend that Followed

This year's christmas was definately something different. So instead of the usual traditional 24th dinner, mum suggested we go out for dinner. Dad wanted in to be a suprised and we ended up having mexican! I wanted something different alright but not this diff...*bah* Not only was it an odd cuisine but the atmosphere itself was depressing...really..mostly cause everyone was missin my aunt I suppose..

Service was a little different as well. There was a play incooperated into the service and the whole service really kicked off my christmas spirit. Went home aroun 1 something and opened gifts. I got dresses mostly and the real suprise was my parent's gift.

A PSP!! This time it was a gadghet instead of a handbag...lol..Now all I have to do is learn to work this thing...and Yes am a computing student...Oh and his name is Marco! :D

Christmas day was the usual with my dad's frenz over and some church members. Headed back to seremban the next day. The depressing atmosphere followed us there as well. But my aunts really helped change the mood around. Chilled out and ate too much as alwayz...lol..went to the mall for a bit and as alwayz when I go there,I itch to get something. Ended up with more tank tops...my current craze!! We decided to catch a midnight flick so got tickets and all.

Came back for dinner cause my grandma absolutely hatez when we go to her place and go out for dinner, and its really difficult getting her out to dinner too so we've givin up..really...went back to the mall and we ended up playin pool which was soo amusin..haha

We catched the premier of:

I've alwayz been a big fan of Adam Sandler. His truly funny. But some scenes I thought was too "scary movie" material.Bugsy was very cute though!! He had my baby's eyes..haha. I think thats what they did added chiuwauwua eyes to him.Lol

Movie finished aroun 12 something and we went for supper after that to the mamak nearby. When we got back, we realized the door was locked.Haha..so my uncle did the whole sneakin in thing he use to do when he was younger to get us in...haha. I think its easier if its a single story house!

Got home the next day at noon and here I am bumming aroun. I seriously can't wait for college to start back! I hate feeling sooo unproductive...*bah*...

A Talk and Twlight

There was this talk today at Taylors Subang,so instead of class we had to go there in replacement.Met up with Prem and Ben in the morning at the lab.Was suppose to work on the binary exercise but I got rather distracted and chilled online.Edwin came later and Eric came to pick us up aroun 1.

Had lunch at Asia Cafe.And saw some of the students from our campus there,apparently quite a few lecturers got the idea to do a "talk" replacement..lol..camwhored a lil!

We were on our way to the talk when we got caught by the Hitz cruisers. They gave some free stuff..gum,drinks,car stickers n all. And had some games.Prem won the first one.He got some tickets for a party.The 2nd game was a water game so most of us pulled out but Prem went through. It really didnt like he was winning at first but somehow in the end he did..lol..won a cadbury prize bag and Jusco voucher.

When the talk was over, some of the others wanted to dota and such but I really wanted to watch Twilight so Eric was nice enough to teman me.We left the rest at the train station in Subang, it was rain cats and dogs there! Then headed to pyramid. Went we entered Sunway, it was just drizzling a lil...like wth!..messed up Malaysian weather....We reached just in time to get the tickets and go into the theater. I was superr excited..haha..this usually never happened before! But its cause when I read the book, I had all these images in my head and I was anticipating to watch it for real!

The movie was real good!! Cept for some cheesy lines...for the sequals I really hope they hire a new script writer and also a new make up artist because some of the actors make up were a bit weird...but Robert Pattertison and Kristin Stuart did a great job!!! Its was lovelyyy!

I got home at around 6 something and then left to church for practice. Then had bak ku teh that night...usually I never like bak ku teh but I was seriously down with the cold! To the point that I was tired of sneezing...

I blame the weather!!!

A Little Breather

One of the lecturers who teaches 2 class this sem was not well so she cancelled her class for the day, therefore we had ample time. Therefore a few of us went to pyramid. I was wanting to watch Twilight but have been tortured for it for random reasons but mostly just cause am a huge fa of the series! and everyone else refused to watch it so they decided to watch...

Only the 3D version was able that day. And the line at the cinema was forever...Had a quick lunch at A&W and managed to reach the movie in time.It was pretty good but there really wasnt much point in watching it in 3D. The storyline was the typical Disney story but it was cute!

Went back to college after that and had one class for the day.Then just chilled in the lab after...

I have yet to watch Twilight!!!

Soooo have to watch it by this week...
I would a disappointing fan than...

From Revisons to the Cinema

Well we have a sorta study break for a day! So most of us decided to meet up at 10 but the meeting turned out to be at about 11 something. I got "I'll be late" smses at 10 when I woke up which didnt make me feel bad..lol

Meet up with Ben and we wee attempting to study stats when his un-geek ways kicked in and he suggested we go watch a movie. So I argeed cause the whole studying thing wasnt working newayz,suggested to Prem and we left to pyramid.

We went and got tickets and Rishi,Nabeel and his gf joined us. I was super hungry but I had to make do with popcorn..*bah*

We watched :
Among all the James Bond actors. Daniel Craig is my favourite! The following is a celebrity crushy moment, you have been warned!! *He does look so freaking fake with an over dose of botox. Specially in this movie, he looks old and tired. But his still soo damn sexayyy! Gosh am so in love with his freaking gorgeous blue eyes!!!!!*
The storyline was not up to expectation though. And the theme song was horrendous!! Gosh it sounded rather painful... Somehow I think I expected more for the whole revenge thing to have lotz of killing and the way he found the people who killed his gurl was rather quick but the bond girl was pretty hot. And the hand to hand combat scenes were good but they should have destroyed more cars...!

After the movie, we had this tea party thing that was sorta complusary. A professor from RMIT was visiting and apparently it was tea party. We reached a half hour late and it ended in half an hour..lol...Then we had sort of a tea. Had our usual facebooking session at the lab after and I went home around 5 something or so.

Well finals are next week and I got my math test 2 paper back today and the score shows that I need improvement and I mean serious improvement!

I better go sort my notes.They're everywhere!

Catchups and Musicals

I decided to be sorta hardworking today.Went to college at about 9 something.Did some stats revision and a bit of the computing assignment. I was suppose to meet up with Ben but he msged me at 4am and ruined a very awesome dream!! *ur not forgivin for it btw* and told me he was suffering from insomnia and begged to come at 10..so I decided to be nice and it was 4am anywayz..I did not wanna argue with him!! :D Apparently he only suffers from insomnia when we have early morning meeting sessions la...*bah*...so then he comes around 10 something we do like a bit of work and I called Benji to see what time his coming and he was like 5 minutes away. So I left Ben with trignometry..*am sorry I forgot to mention to you am leavin early la*

We went to Mid Valley. Since it was around 11 something we got parking. Went and got tickets and we just walked around. Hanged out at the Gardens and catched. It's been a few months since we last catched up. Missed you dear! Then we had lunch at Chilli's and I had quesadillas!! Tt's been a while since I last had it..I really wanna learn to make them though..

I somehow convinced him that it wouldnt be too torturous..haha..Well it was pretty good actually specially the choregraphy and music.It really stepped up,its just that the storyline was rather predictable. I kinda expected more and I have to admit I found some parts rather cheesy...

We had a drink at the Seed cafe and he dropped me off at college.Did a little more work at the library, got home around 6 something.I was superr dead tired. I came home and dropped dead on my bed and woke up at 8. I was totally dead sleepin to the point that I had no dreams..haha..thats when I know am just super tired.

Finals are 2 weeks!!!! I'm fuckin freakin out!!! Tests are this week and the next.A whole bunch of assaignments are due as well, thank goodness its mostly group stuff.

Prediction: There's really gonna be a lack of updates and am gonna be missin from the face of the planet for a while darlinz...I'll check back whenever I can ya..

I'm SUPER excited for this flick!!! Weeeeeee!

I just hope its up to expectation though.Cause usually when book goes to flick quite a number of readers get disappointed.And I just dont wanna be one of them!I think the actors share good chemistry though.Btw the actor may seem familiar cause he was the cutie, Cedric, in Harry Potter. Aceept here his paler and more vampire lookin!

I catched the "Other Boylen Girl" on Tuesday.The only reason was because it starred both Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johnson. Mostly cause of Natalie Portman..haha.Apparently half wayy through, I realiezed it was history I did! I clearly remember the name "Catherine of Aragon". It was very fasicating and easily remembered. It was about Queen Eliazabeth's mum and her family.I found it rather sad actually.How during that 17th century, people had not much say in their lives especially woman.Oh and also I realized that Scarlett Johnson seriously needs braces..haha.

College has been rather the usual.I really do enjoy my days yes even through the piling assaignments. It's been gruesomely long days though and am so freakin tired when I get back. The first thing I do is sleep and then study till about 3 a.m. I think I messed up my biological clock yetz again....

I got my Malaysian Studies results today.Am soo proud of me!! I got 11/10.I just passed...lolz.Still this is some proof that am a decent malaysian la.There was also a hardware workshop today. This was run by the seniors.And there was this cute uni student doing most of the talking.Ben taught he looked kinda like Jesse McCartney...! It wasn't very much interesting though..so ben and I ended up yapping bout cute boys. Then we decided on a camwhorin moment

I just got back and am here with a yummy-licious cheese cake..chillin

Best Movie of the Summer...So Farr..

I alwayz anticipate the summer flicks.They are alwayz the best of the year.This year though the big ones did not live up.Like Indiana Jones..wht the hell is up with the aliens!!..*ish* Then there was Hellboy II with its cheese jokes,The Mummy II was another disappointment.Why did Rachel Weinz retake her role!! The other actress is so old and has no chemistry with Brandon Fraser.And the potraly of their son was plainly annoying ...The Hulk was in between it all.I did not manage to catch most of it though cause of my skoolwork and all..*bah*...

The best this summer so far has been..Batman: The Knight Rider!!!!!!

Christian Bale portrays Batman well cept for the weird animal like voice he has when his batman.That kinda funny..lolz..it sounds like he has a sore throat..They switched Katie Holmes with Maggie Gyllenhaal.She was okies I guess..But the star of the movie that captured me was...

The Joker!!!

Heath Ledger was absolutely fabalous!! I was just totally freaked out and in awe at his character.It was totally disturbing to the point I was afraid I would end up having nightmares.Seriously.

I guess he knew he was gonna leave hollywood forever after this movie so he decided to give it his all for this role.He was plainly superb!

Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspain was pretty good.More action than the first one.I enjoyed this more.And the actors really grew up.It was long though.I couldn't feel my legs after the movie.

18th Celebration ( Part 2)

On friday I planned my 18th celebration.Am not sure why but this 18th thing has been a huge deal for me and I kinda had a rough plan ever since I was 16 I think.I just really found this whole legal thing amusin! lol Well the whole plannin was not an easy at all not cause of everyone's scheulede but cause of the fuckin drama that got in the wayy of it and was really murderin me but I wasn't gonna let anything get in the wayy of my 18th that I wanted soo much!

I went to pyamid at 2 something,mum wasn't pleased cause it was gonna rain like crazy soon and she was tired so yeah u get the idea..I was there waitin for benji who is usually fashionably late..ish ish..so then we went and got the movies tickets for "Shutter" and his fren at the couter got it for us at 6 bucks..how cool is tht! :D So that we went n got late lunch at Uncle Lim's.The movie was not too bad n not exactly scary but disgusting!!! Then we went n got a drink n he had to leave..so yeah I was alone..donkey!..(P.S: Ur forgiven though thankz to the hersheys!!! Now the marshmarllow conversation makes sense..haha)

So I went decided to past time window shoppin n rachey come at 7.When we were walkin bout,shaun called n said he can't make it so I was really bummed outz n with shaun bein the gentleman he is he would go into a string of sorrys so I didnt really show and I got total sounding from rachey for not showing..haha..so we decided to sit and she got a call from her fren and she was like "I alwayz bump into her wherever I go" So we sat and waited for her fren then all of a sudden she goes "Pevert!" lol..And there was shaun! So yeah techinally I got belated april fool..haha..we went to Italiannies and chilled while waiting for the others.They were takin forever so we ordered first.Rachey n I split the lasagna n shauny got the linguini.Oh n in conjunction with my legality of alcohol I got a cosmopolitan! It was vodka and cranberry.Jon and Nicki came after that daniel arrived.For dessert rachey n I got the bread pudding..OMG it was Heavenly!!! The others got the lunguini as well...Oh and my birthday cake was the bread pudding as well which I didnt mind at all! But before they sang "Happy Birthday",the waiter insisted I sing cause my speech was too short so I ended up singin Florida's Low..gosh do I lovee tht song :D Jon and Shaun(they ryhme..haha) were totally facinated by the waiteresses..lol..their flirtin skills were hilarious..really!

So we went there and sat inside and the best part was we were havin this catch up convo n was practically screamning over the music..haha..I got the chocolate diamond then..some kind of alcohol with chocolate chips in it...It was really yummy! The others came n we camwhored.Daniel got heineken and he treated me one as well..lol..I just really lovee tht place cause the environment is great and so is the music..they hav a real good dj!

Shaun and I left aroun 11 something cause he had to go to his fren's place.Dropped by there and then went home...

I had a really great time!! It was exactly the wayy I wanted it so yeah am happy..Thankz to everyone who came!..
